Sandeep Mathur is a Program Manager at Transport NSW managing key data-analytics programs. He is also a Fellow of Australian Institute of Company Directors; Chair of Australian Computer Society’s National Diversity & Inclusion Committee; Member of Standards Australia’s IT-030 Committee for IT Governance and Management; and a Guest Lecturer at UTS.
He has over 20 years Project/Program/Portfolio Management experience in organisations such as Transport for NSW, First Data, Westpac, HSBC, Commonwealth Bank, Deutsche Bank, Societe Generale, IBM, CSC, Fujitsu and Tourism Australia. He is a certified Program Management Professional (PgMP) & Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute; certified SAFe Agilist (SA) & Agile Project Management (AgilePM) Practitioner; certified Management of Portfolio (MoP) Practitioner and certified Proscii Change Management consultant.
He is a recipient of prestigious Project Manager of the Year Award from PMI Australia in 2007. He has authored or contributed to several Project/Program/Portfolio Management Standards from Standards Australia and Project Management Institute. He is author of Standards Australia publication “SA/SNZ TS 8019:2016 – Governance of Benefits Realisation for IT enabled Investments”. He is undertaking doctoral research on “Data Science Programs as Exploratory Projects – A new approach to Program Management” at UTS.
