Greg Skulmoski is an experienced digital project manager having led both technical and non-technical projects with global teams. Greg has a PhD in project management and his research is focused on adaptive project management, innovation and PMO optimization. Greg was a core member of the PMBOK Guide® 2000 Update Team that revised the original PMI PMBOK Guide® and other standards related projects.
Dr. Skulmoski was in the Middle East for 17 years where he taught in the College of Information Technology at Zayed University in Abu Dhabi for over nine years. He left academia to help set up the IT PMO at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. He led project teams to deliver multiple projects to open the hospital, then led global teams to stabilize and optimize processes, systems and human resources. In 2017 Greg Skulmoski won the Middle East Security Award (MESA) for his work in project risk management. After leading projects for seven years, he left project management to join Bond University in 2018 and is leading the Master of Project Innovation and Master of Project Management program.
